Maryland Government Substance Abuse and Prevention
The Queen Anne’s County Department of Health Prevention Services would like for you to take part in a 3-minute post-survey that will help us to assess the effectiveness of our community-based prevention marketing campaign targeting proper storage and disposal of prescriptions drugs, and underage drinking in our community.
Baltimore County Department of Health (BCDH)
The Baltimore County Department of Health (BCDH) provides treatment through community providers for substance users and their families, and develops, coordinates and monitors a countywide network of substance use prevention and disorder treatment services. Free language assistance services can be provided to persons with limited English proficiency.
Montgomery County Maryland Child and Adolescent Assessment Services
Montgomery County Maryland Child and Adolescent Assessment Services (CAAS) located at the Crisis Center, provides confidential mental health assessments and screening for substance abuse for youth up to age 18 who live in Montgomery County. Referrals are made for mental health and substance use treatment, substance use education and classes. CAAS does not provides psychiatric evaluations, however, the assessment covers essential mental health areas (such as suicidal and/or homicidal ideation or attempts; hospitalizations; medications; previous mental health treatment, etc.) Urine drug screenings are available for middle and high school age clients.
